Overview:
After assisting the client with early cost planning and construction advice Albion Projects was awarded the contract to undertake the full refurbishment of the existing two level office building at 6 Cordelia Street, South Brisbane.
The project involved the complete internal refurbishment of the building and included the full replacement of all mechanical, electrical and hydraulic services. All external glazing was removed and replaced with double glazed window units and new bi-fold door suites. Two new recreational areas were added through a new balcony structure and a new courtyard, both to the front of the building.
Albion Projects were responsible for the full fit-out inclusive of all workstations and loose furniture.
The project involved the relocation of existing server room UPS power, air conditioning and infrastructure from the clients existing premises and required detailed planning and co-ordination.
This project was completed within a challenging 17 week construction period and allowed the client to relocate as planned to these new premises in Dec 2010.
